Olympic Records (OR) may established only in the Olympic shooting events in the Olympic Games.
World Records (WR) may be established in all recognized ISSF Men's, Women's, and Junior events in Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cups, Continental Championships and Continental Games which have been conducted according to the ISSF General Regulations. World Records will be recognized in individual events if a minimum of 15 shooters participate and in team events, if a minimum of 5 teams participate. If more than 3 competitors per country are admitted to the World Cups, World Records can only be achieved by the shooters nominated for the main competitions (quota places).
Final Olympic Records (FOR) and Final World Records (FWR) may be established only in Olympic events for Men and Women and are comprised of the results of the Qualification Rounds added to the results of the Finals Round for each event.
Junior World Records (WRJ), male and female, will be recognized only in Junior events fired either as special Junior competitions in ISSF Championships or by Junior shooters competing in regular ISSF Championships. Junior World Records, male and female, for individual and team, will be recognized if a minimum of 10 shooters participate in the individual category and 3 teams participate in the team category. |
